Microsoft Dynamics 365 Licensing & Pricing

With Dynamics 365, Microsoft has not only evolved their product strategy, they’ve also reinvented their approach to pricing and packaging – focusing on simplicity and transparency.

Dynamics 365 licensing is predominately user-based.  When we think of users, we think of 2 categories, Additional & Full users.

Full User

Full User

Full users leverage the majority of functionality – think of a sales rep, customer service agent, HR manager or Finance manager that works in a business application every day.
Additional Users

Additional Users

Additional user is most of the people within a company …they look up customer information, they consume knowledge, they run reports, they complete light tasks like time and expense and create accounts or contacts. I am a perfect example of this. I approve POs, do expense reports and enter my vacation time. Our Team members SKU supports light users with a lower price point.
Mix and Match

Mix and Match

Each user may be licensed only for the functionality they need across Plans, Applications, Activity, and Team Members
Named Users

Named Users

Dynamics 365 supports both Named User and devices accessing the solution functionality.
Device Subscription

Device Subscription

You may have any mix of User and Device subscription licenses.
