Supporting different library teams through a continuing partnership

Denver Public Library supports community programs, educational initiatives, organizational partnerships, and public events. Those activities depend on reliable information about people, relationships, and the work happening across library teams.

Across three separate projects, Andosi worked with DPL on the needs of its Digital Navigators team, Partner CRM, and Private Events operations. Each engagement built on the library’s Microsoft Dynamics technology investment, with solutions and recommendations shaped around the team using them.

The work spanned CRM modernization, partnership relationship management, and a proposed approach to managing the private event lifecycle. Together, these engagements show how DPL continued to extend the use of its Microsoft technology as new needs emerged.

Digital Navigators

Modernizing CRM while preserving valuable history

Andosi’s Digital Navigators engagement included related modernization work for Denver Public Library’s Early Learning CRM environment. The legacy system contained specialized records for schools, teachers, classrooms, and readers, representing years of program information and community relationships.

Andosi assessed the existing environment and developed an approach for moving it into Dynamics 365 Online. The work considered custom data structures, relationships between records, security, testing, deployment, and user training, with the goal of preserving historical information and supporting a modern cloud platform.

Planning the transition and future improvements

The scope included assessment, Dataverse alignment, migration planning, security, user acceptance testing, and training.

Andosi also evaluated future requests involving self-service updates, volunteer management, classroom history, and reporting. These discussions helped shape a roadmap for additional Dynamics 365 and Power Platform enhancements.

Partner CRM

A clearer view of the library’s partnerships

Denver Public Library’s Partner CRM initiative focused on strengthening relationship management across the organization. Andosi supported work to improve visibility into the contacts, organizations, partnerships, and agreements involved in that effort.

This engagement extended the library’s use of Dynamics technology to another set of organizational needs and established a foundation for future interoperability between DPL’s Dynamics environments.

Private Events

Designing support for the full event lifecycle

For Private Events, Andosi developed a proposed Dynamics 365-based approach to managing events from initial inquiry through planning, communications, invoicing, execution, and post-event feedback.

The design brought together Dynamics 365 customer engagement capabilities, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Customer Voice, and Azure services. It outlined how customer information and event processes could be managed within a unified Dynamics environment.

Event-management scope

Inquiry and customer communication management
Venue scheduling and operational coordination
Event planning and workflow automation
Financial tracking and invoicing
Surveys, KPI reporting, and analytics

The project explored how DPL could apply its Microsoft technology investment to the coordination and customer communication involved in private events.

Building on an existing Microsoft investment across three projects

Support as new needs emerged

Andosi’s work with Denver Public Library continued across distinct teams and priorities. Digital Navigators, Partner CRM, and Private Events each brought a different operational need, while Microsoft Dynamics technology remained a common foundation for the work.

A foundation to keep developing

The engagements considered existing data, specialized processes, and opportunities for future connections. This approach helped frame how DPL could continue to develop its Microsoft environment as additional program and organizational needs emerged.
