The US entity of Ingram Micro had developed a ‘Quote Workbench’ that allowed the sales team, who processed thousands of quotes per day, to create and process quotes efficiently while integrating with their back-office ERP system. As the system became outdated and approached its maximum capacity, the team knew they needed assistance building a solution that was capable of expanding and bringing Ingram Micro further into the future.

After the foundation was built, it was time to deploy globally. Andosi was responsible for the technology backbone, data dictionaries, requirements, system design including user interface, project management and project coordination with other departments. The global roll-out meant special attention needed to be made for international system requirements. This not only included the ability to handle all currencies and languages in the more than 40 countries that Ingram Micro does business, but also allowed for different operating procedures in each of those countries. Andosi was able to get two additional countries up and running successfully in a matter of a few months.
The success of the initial global roll-out empowered Ingram Micro to build their own implementation and project teams to expand on the technical and deployment foundation that Andosi created. Our team continued to be an integral part of their team for several years, travelling to Europe, Asia and Australia to assist with the design and deployment of unique requirements as well as helping to solve complex technical challenges in various countries.
