Custom integration & new customer portal brings improved efficiency and better customer experience

Picture this: Stansfeld Scott Inc., a significant distributor of spirits and health food items to Caribbean countries, had a proprietary order system built on Microsoft Access that was causing delays in order processing and increasing the workload for their team. In short, it was clunky and inefficient.   Their customers were screaming for order visibility. They needed a modern and scalable solution to replace the legacy system they had outgrown, and that’s where Andosi came in.

Andosi stepped up to the plate, utilizing our expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Business Applications for trade and distribution companies. We created a solution in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales to manage Sales Order Entry, Customers, Distributors, Products, Brands, Cost and Pricing. In addition, Experlogix Document Generation was implemented to create and deliver tailored sales order, invoice, shipping and cargo documents required throughout the sales order fulfillment process.

But we didn’t stop there. We also created a customer portal built on Power Pages that allowed Stansfeld Scott’s customers to log in and review and approve Dynamics 365 sales orders. When a customer approves a sales order in the portal, the update is immediately reflected in Dynamics 365. This feature not only provided greater transparency in the sales order process but also increased efficiency and improved communication between Stansfeld Scott and its customers.

The results achieved were amazing. Stansfeld Scott saw a significant increase in order and pricing accuracy and productivity, which allowed them to focus on their core business operations. Their customers are now not only able to transact in the portal, but they can also track their inbound shipments as they are floating on the seas.  With our help, they were able to streamline their order management system and significantly enhance their customers’ experience.
